The Empowering Tree
The Empowering Tree is a program that inspires our youth to become empowered using creative measures. The program's goal is to increase children confidence and self-esteem. Children, like trees, need to be cared for and nurtured. Creating a strong, firmly rooted base, and then building a supportive community around them, allows children to grow into beautiful, strong individuals.
My Story
My name is Sarah and I am a senior in high school. I am passionate about empowering children by inspiring self-growth through art and other creative mediums. Working as a BBA student leader has given me the opportunity to grow and learn with each child in every class. Helping the children set goals that include building self-confidence, improving self-esteem, increasing self-awareness and developing self-respect, and then seeing first hand how they progress on the journey is incredibly rewarding. Empowering students to build a strong foundation is one of the keys to future successes. My mission is to continue to help and encourage children to grow and flourish like trees, and I am excited to share The Empowering Tree's message and philosophy with others.

Programs

EMPOWERMENT ART
This program offers students a curriculum that focuses on self-awareness and self-esteem. Working on sheets and discussions and completing an art project that empowers them to learn about themselves and connecting with others to create a sense of community.
GIVE BACK ART
This program offers a project based curriculum that inspires kindness and giving back. The projects give students the opportunity to build self-confidence and self-worth as they build their community.
