Hi. my name is Shayna and I am a senior in high school from New York. I am passionate about working with children in the foster care system and so excited to partner with Bake Back America to empower and inspire the children. I also love playing soccer and spending time with my family and friends.

To Perform Acts Of Kindness
Monthly Sessions
This program inspires volunteers to connect with children living in the foster care system on a monthly basis. Each session is customized to be fun, interactive and empowering. Project material are customized and special holiday projects are encouraged.
EVENTS
This program is designed to create a monthly event that is engaging while being inspiring and empowering. The events are creative and can range from a holiday theme, empowerment class to a fun carnival or sports day. Each event has a give back component where projects or ideas give the children to be part of the give back process.

PROJECTS
This program focuses on empowering volunteers to customize a requested project that is creatively done with care and compassion. Examples of this project are decorating bags filled with snacks or needed items or even designing journals for the children.
Birthday Cakes
This program is an amazing opportunity for volunteers who love baking and giving back. Customizing birthday cakes and platters so the children in the foster care can celebrate their birthday. First names are supplied and many times the types of cakes they like so they can feel like people truly care.
Cooking Classes
This program empowers volunteers who have a passion for cooking and helping others. Volunteers create a menu and bring all supplies with them to the foster care. Simple meals are prepared and cooked for the kids to enjoy while learning basic needs of taking care of themselves.

Thank you Stephanie, Shayna, Nicole, Caroline, Josh, Hudson, Noah, Urja, Sarina, Maddie, and Lisa for making the Welcome to Spring event the most special day for the children at pleasantville Cottages. A huge thank you to Fox Meadow Elementary School for donating all the snacks.
